The Arabs were there originally? You don't read your history books. The Jews predate the Arabs by over 2,000 years in the region. To this day, parts of Israel are called Judea. Is that code for Arab? I don't think so. The Arab claim dates back to Mohammed's time of around 600A.D. The Jews were there long before the Ottoman empire even existed.
