Call to the company: Let me preface by saying that I didn't ask many questions at all. I primarily was interested in the new products that are coming out. Basically they have 4 new products coming out, one already out as I understood it. They are next generation DSL modem testing products. DSL modems are the latest hot modems for use over copper wires. They are hot because they are maxing out the high speed limits of copper wires, which makes them more competitive with the cable companies. Aware AWRE and Pairgain PRGN are two customers. Aware has been a very hot stock. Telebyte expects there to be increasing demand by those manufactures for their test equipment as demand for the modems increases. An example of 2 features of their new product are the ability to stack one on top of the other (I didn't press for detail) and ability to control remotely from a PC. The products have been in development for some time, and are quite sophisticated, with features requested by their customers. They plan to aggresively market and price them and hope to capture the lion's share of the market. He mentioned there being only one competitor, Consultronics (sp?), and it being only a recent one. No revenue/margin numbers were requested or given. A couple of trade shows are coming up during which they will display the new products. He mentioned, as does the press releases, also that they intend to focus more and more on the internet for marketing. I didn't inquire about anything else. This just simply looks like good value now and they are addressing an area which is set to grow dramatically and which will have a corresponding need for the new products. We'll see what happens, but I'm optimistic. Ted
