Michael, I don't think they are doing a cocktail study. The previous results were the in vitro study. Using Androvir in a cocktail format would be likely however since Androvir is unique in being a kinase inhibitor and the other drugs use reverse transcriptase technique or protease inhibition so Androvir would intervene at a different stage would be extremely likely to have additive effect. I would guess that when it goes to market it will be tried in various cocktail combinations.

My guess on lack of response to the news is that major investors including pharmaceuticals are overlooking the potential here and may not want to encourage development of reasonably priced products coming out under the Dietary Supplement and Health Education Act which allows avoidance of the FDA 5 year procedure, since the majors have put a lot of money and effort (the press reveals much of it is in the form of bribery) into being expert at the FDA process so they don't want it to go down the drain yet or for a long time. The big guns don't want reasonably priced, low side effect products to get to the perception threshold. What is not being seen or is being suppressed is that what is now a niche may and should become an enormous field. Just as Microsoft overlooked Netscape and Internet, the big players are not seeing or want to suppress the potential here. Awhile ago all the internet companies were charging high fees for access and services, most of which they are now fighting to give away, because they
miscalculated on Netscape.

Likewise what we have here are products being highly enhanced through a sophisticated high tech methodology starting with natural substances that are efficacious and safe already. The products may already be as good or better than the "medications" produced by the major pharmaceuticals after 5 or more years of FDA testing. And they will only get better as this approach and strategy continues to develop. It will produce more and more products that are effective and safe and have a reasonable cost. As this becomes clear it will stand the majors on their head as Netscape did in internet and the major companies now see the wisdom of reasonable pricing that is also fair to the user.

As I said earlier, Androvir is the only product based on kinase inhibition and should make an additional contribution which should enhance any of the cocktails already being used. I go with Paul's attitude to the current stock price on this and I think the supposed "big guns" may not see this or may not want it seen. Again, Microsoft didn't see Netscape and internet until they had to.
