Absolutely. Except that it came after the 60's which was a very similar time to now. We had low inflation with high growth. It didn't prevent the market from going nowhere between 1966 and 1982. People who bought near the troughs and sold near the peaks during those years made money. That's what I believe we're coming up against. I'm not predicting doomsday.

BTW, I'm not a "new era" believer. I'll be buying Dell in the 50's but only for trading.
