(NYSE:TFS) Thursday announced that it has received a production order for a liquid crystal display (LCD) module from a major U.S.-based manufacturer of telecommunication equipment. The production order calls for initial second quarter shipments of the module which contains a liquid crystal display and related components. The custom LCD graphics module was designed by Three-Five Systems and will be used by Three-Five's customer in a portable, digital cellular telephone (GSM) for worldwide distribution.
