I guess my point was that ripping into the folks that get paid to help where they can isn't that helpful. I certainly wouldn't want them to discontiue their efforts.

And I agree with everything you say about missed deadlings, flaws etc. I've tried to bring the spot light on to management, collected dozens of stories and had hundreds of people forward email and requests to media to help - but clearly nothing much helps. I spent quite a bit of time at it.

I stick around because the level of service is adequate for my needs, and as QFeed user primarily, the service is in fact pretty reliable. Esp. the new IP feed. But I run a 3000$ piece of software to chart, and I collect and manage all my own data locally. So I pay a price.

But I can't remember more than one day when I was totally without charts.

And I have never, not once, seen QCHarts itself crash with a GPF. Perhaps running everything on NT is a help.

So I've done things to insulate myself from the problems. For people that are having continuing grief I'm afraid the only option is to move. Clearly their management isn't moving at the pace we'd all like to see.

At any rate, I had no intention to inflame you or the situation, but I do think that the support folks should not be the target of our angst. Just my opinion.
