OT - Unfortunate it makes sense, I can only admit that wars are horrible events and that is why countries or states send kids into battle their naivete and brainwashing make them to follow unreasonable orders . The other participants in a war, in general are deraigned group of people and criminals or people with criminal inclinations, as in the photo in my previous post Message 29700681

To understand what I claim please read the "Lucifer Effect"
lucifereffect.com

I am a decorated soldier at the level of the Armored Corps Command, participated in few wars, covert operations and behind enemy lines, many times under live fire. I never killed one person, I salvaged lives and military hardware or communication gear, and I can tell one thing for sure - today I cannot rationalize what I did, even that I do understand why, but I would sum it up as outright irresponsible more so as being the single son to my parents.

Courage in military action or war? - bulshit it is an irresponsible behaviour risking your life where barrely you can make a dent in the outcome of the war, but this is how the elite defines to the masses when someone is acting against his own reasonable instincts to survive which acts he would never do in a normal situation as a mature person.

Those irrational acts actually in many cases surprises the enemy and confuses them inducing them to make mistakes.

War is in general won, aside from definite superiority, by the party that makes the fewer mistakes.

One classic way to deceive people, as related to courage, is the classic example that one soldier out of desperation chooses to die and attracts all the enemy fire and attention and enable the others to counter attack. Happened so many times in WWI and WWII.

This is not courage but an act of desperation, but society call it courage and postmortem the soldier is decorated for engaging in a suicidal act out of desperation. (this suicidal theme or events where exposed in many Russians war movies which I saw in my childhood, and they definitely influenced my behaviour as a youngster in the Israeli army). Yes it is right to give your own life and sacrifice yourself for the motherland - sorry but this is totally irrational bordering to madness.
