If you're willing to hold the stocks for 6-8 months odds are you'll make a profit even if you bought Friday and the market tanks Monday.

There is another take on this. What if Gore has won by tomorrow and Bush concedes. We'd get a massive rally on Monday. The market is not in love with Bush, contrary to what you GOPers would like everyone to believe. In fact, Bush as a President is more a liability to the markets. His cabinet is made up of people who helped cause the last recession and Shrub is half as smart as his daddy.
