Wins $1.8 Million High-Power Amplifier Orders for Satellite Terminals to Provide Satellite Connectivity for Soldiers finance.yahoo.com Wednesday October 14, 2009 MELVILLE, N.Y., Oct. 14, 2009 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Comtech Telecommunications Corp. (Nasdaq:CMTL) announced today that its Santa Clara, California-based subsidiary, Comtech Xicom Technology, Inc., received orders totaling $1.8 million for ruggedized, high-power, solid-state power amplifiers (SSPA's) that will be incorporated into transportable fly-away satellite terminals used by U.S. soldiers stationed overseas in remote areas.
