* In 1860, a year before the Civil War, ALL the slaves in America, ~4 million, were owned by DEMOCRATS (23:00). NO REPUBLICAN, at that time, owned a slave.
* More Republicans, proportionately, voted for ALL the Civil Rights Laws than did the Democrats !! (27:08). The Republicans voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (27:22), Civil Rights Voting Act of 1965, and the Fair Housing Bill of 1968.
