would do just fine Whether or not you wind up with more money than you put into a stock has a great deal to do with your time frame. I've had many a stock get cut in half before returning 300%-500% to me. Trying to buy the bottoms and sell the tops is a losing game. Meanwhile the little old ladies who hold through thick and thin get rich over time. Knowing all that doesn't keep you from wanting to shake your fist at a management that had everything going for them, that plays at running the company, blows a substantial lead, all while the stock price burns. ATHM has made a fool of anyone that has tried to hold her.
