Zeena: I think it's a good thing to focus on something your good at.. I've never strayed away from common stocks and occasionally options. IMO-Every individual investor that can accept personal responsibility has to start somewhere. If you have also decided your going to be an investor for the long term. It's my opinion that once a individual investor achieves what they consider scale. . A diversified portfolio is a must. I started at 17 (1977) and I'm still a player at 51 (2011).
