Wolf Industries Inc. Closes Acquisition of TravelPort Media Inc. And Commences Operations in Florida
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 8 /PRNewswire/ -- Wolf Industries Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: WLFN - news) announced today that the company has closed the purchase of TravelPort Media Inc., which will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Wolf Industries Inc. Wolf Industries intends to commence filing for a name change to TravelPort Media (2000) Inc.

TravelPort Media Inc. operates a digital Internet-based Interactive Marketing and Reservation Network that is commencing commercial operations in Orlando and Kissimmee, Florida this month. At present, agreements have been made with a number of premier hotels to host TravelPort stations. These hotels include Radisson, Sheraton, Hilton and Delta Resorts. In addition, TravelPort has established advertising contracts with a number of restaurants and attractions. These include the Hardrock Cafe, Water Mania, Medieval Times and Enzo's Restaurant on the Lake.

The first installations will take place in partnership with Tempus Resorts, a resort company located in Orlando, Florida that operates Guest Services Desks within select Orlando hotels. The agreement with Tempus was signed on May 1st, 2000 and secures approximately 21 hotel locations and 3 shopping malls for the Company's interactive video marketing systems.

Scott Berner, Marketing Director at Tempus Resorts, stated, ``Everyone in the marketing department could immediately see the benefits of interactive video on the TravelPort system to showcase our resort and advertisers. Our guest services staff provide information about attractions and advice on where to eat and how to get around, so being able to present our own information as well as advertisers' information using interactive video is very exciting. We are preparing to roll out the units to our best locations, which include a couple of 800+ room hotels.''

Revenues will be generated from advertisers utilizing the company's interactive digital video TravelPort's, commencing August 1, 2000. Expansion is already under way for Southern California, Ontario's 'Golden Triangle' the Pacific Northwest and the remainder of Florida.
