I think you are in left field, no offense. I notice from your profile we have something in common. I used to work at a little ole nuke near SLO town, if you catch my drift. I am a user of Richochet, and I am sold on it. The main advantage you are ignoring is that this is mobile internet service. I can use it anywhere in the Bay Area, in a car, on the bus, on BART, at home, in my office, and even at most transmission substations. My company even uses Metricom's radio network for SCADA, because it's so reliable. And nobody expects the earnings to be positive for the next few quarters. The run up is based on potential earnings. The hoopla over WCOM might subside, but they could announce other partnerships at any time. Good luck.
