Theres tons of electric car statups in the bay area and that tech is almost ready for primetime. Electric cars are cheaper than gas cars to run/maintain and if the utility involved is green its 0 carbon emissions. All the CA utilities are going green. Solar is cheaper than coal now. So I'd say these electric cars are the way to go.
