BCGI--The most important comments today came from Cato Carpenter of Deutsche Banc Alex Brown. He noted that a LOT of the charges that the company will take in the 3Q are one-time factors. Most important among these was a hardware outage on BCGI's prepaid wireless service platform, which Mr. Carpenter noted was now fixed. He went on to say he expects the company to be profitable in the fourth quarter, and that BCGI will be able to maintain its earnings in 2000. This looks like an oversold bounce opportunity.
