Hi Al,

When a stock has failed to get its quarterly report in on time, or it has failed to meet its requirements to become fully reporting by the date set by the SEC, and "E" is appended on to the end of its stock symbol; i.e.: ACME becomes ACMEE (sort of a "..Scarlet Letter.."; price usually drops).

If compliance is not achieved within the following 30 days (excepting an extension approved by the SEC) the "E" goes away (= ACME again) but the stock is dropped from being actively quoted; falling onto the Pink Sheets (usually the kiss of death; price usually crashes).

"OB", when shown associated with a stock quote, identifies the company as being an Over-the-counter Bulletin Board stock. Sometimes shown as BB:ACME.

John :-)
