Spring is coming. Eight plump robins were pecking away in the still-green grass of my back yard this rainy morning. Usually my first sighting of the year is a lone robin, but this time it was eight -- a veritable flock.

Who needs a groundhog on February 2? In Texas we have robins on February 1. Early birds getting the worms. :)
