Tony,

Yes, we do have a mainframe in the basement along with 5 RS/6000's and some Win95 and NT servers around the building. Gee and quess what - There all networked together!! :-)

I work in the R/D department, we sell RS/6000's, cash registers, (running NT and Win95 as admin stations) as well as desktop machines and servers to our clients. I develop software for sale, our retail stores get it for free. Sorry for giving the impression I love mainframes, I don't! I do like as much power as I can get though. I work mainly on the RS/6000 and yes NT server (new project).

We don't make books here, we deal in used textbooks and own lots of bookstores around the country, even own College Book of Califorina. So next time you buy or sell a textbook you maybe using our system. FYI, CBC does the daily buyback and excess store stock at Berkley but Missouri Book has the big end of session buyback. If you want to know more check out nebook.com (I work in CBMS)

Take Care

Ann

Anxiously awaiting my P2-266 to arrive next week!!
