Some people are afraid of big dogs, but for the most part they were bred to be manageable and usually have a good disposition unless they are made otherwise. Terriers were bred to be ratters and can be pretty nasty. I used to have rottweilers, which are pretty good dogs. Dobies on the other hand are Rotties mixed with terrier and they were bred to be attack dogs.
