“On January 25, 2018, the Commission for the Protection of Agricultural Land (CPTAQ) closed the analysis of Canada Carbon's Miller file, since Canada Carbon's project is deemed not to comply with the Municipality of Grenville-sur-la-Rouge bylaws.

Canada Canada wanted to operate a heavy industry, including a marble quarry and an open pit mine commonly known as the Miller Project, within an agricultural and deer confinement area, where such activity is strictly prohibited under the municipal zoning and planning bylaws.”
