Apple's 3rd calendar quarter of 2014 computer sales, in context

Figures are for worldwide computer sales (in thousands):

All Vendors 78,519 100.0% 79,905 100.0% -1.73%
Notes:
1. Figures for Apple are actual unit shipments for the periods, obtained from investor.apple.com
2. Figures for all other manufacturers are "preliminary estimates" from IDC (8 Oct 2014)

Also note shipment and share growth compared to numbers for the same quarter that I posted here three years ago; Lenovo and Apple's shipments are up, while every other leading PC maker is down, some fairly significantly, and the industry as a whole is down even more (91.8M to 78.5M).
