ahhh ... high school! My girlfriend was the class President (I guess I was the HS Karl Rove<g>). Seriously, I think that our system keeps many good men and women from running for office. Who would want to go through all this garbage? Not me. I really don't have a better solution, but I would like to see our leaders face more Q&A. The least we should accept is the ability to speak effectively (clear speaking is evidence of clear thinking). If I ran, I would speak my mind, and consequently be ridiculed for any mistake. I feel for Howard Dean and John McCain.
