GTE Selects Integrated Research's PROGNOSIS for UNIX
Systems Management Solution
SYDNEY, Australia--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 5, 1998--Integrated Research Pty Ltd (IR) is
pleased to announce that GTE (NYSE:GTE - news), one of the world's largest publicly held
telecommunications companies, has chosen PROGNOSIS(TM) as its UNIX systems
management solution.
PROGNOSIS is renowned for its breadth of functionality, unparalleled fault tolerance and ease
of installation on servers from Tandem (R) (NYSE:TDM - news) a Compaq company
(NYSE:CPQ - news). The development of PROGNOSIS for UNIX servers is an important
milestone in IR's cross-platform systems management strategy, and means that PROGNOSIS
can now run seamlessly across NSK, NT and UNIX operating systems.
