They do float on account of they're waxy. Spray cleaner drowns'em. Dilute Palmolive does the same thing. An ant in the toilet skates on the water. If you get her with a dab of soap, she'll sink. It's lights out within seconds. Not much air capacity in there once you plug the breathers.
