I see MUSE slowly increasing sales and having a dedicated group of patients who will support the product. We still have a solid group of patients who like the "needle" because it is reliable. We still have a group of patients who like Muse and see almost every day old MUSE patients who return to the fold. It's a slow process because people want to believe the pill will work for them especially since the hype is so strong but if it doesn't work then it doesn't work. Much of Viagra's base is placebo related but that will erode with time. I am not sure I understand that there will not be a sales force working with urologists since Vivus has been very active with the AUA and very visible at the meetings. That could of course change but IMO it would be a mistake. Insurance coverage of MUSE is a big help because of the cost for ED Rx. Need to see how the sales force is structured before I can give an opinion. Some Docs won't even talk to detail reps now.
