I don't think any politician really has the real answer for that these days given the ideological extremists seem to want to take the safe way out in their ideological corners to appease donor class and constantly punt allowing the current status quo to continue unabated and thus more ZIRP to infinity. This cycle will end even worse than 2008 as we won't bounce the next time.
