Lotsa news stories on ALK the last few days. There was a nice piece from AP to the effect that the airline has had an unusual run of bad luck, but their management is holding up and it's still a good company, etc. The same day, a more negative story about maintenance problems. Then Sunday, FAA threatened to ground their planes if they didn't improve maintenance. I don't know how serious a threat that is; anybody have an insight?
