Hi Jim: Back is doing great since surgery. I have been walking about one hour per day with no pain. I have even done some time on a stationary bike. Couldn't do any of this before surgery. Only problem has been from staph infections--I have had two now. The surgeons went through the abdomen for the surgery and that is where I have gotten two staph infections--one about two weeks after surgery and the other about five weeks after surgery (which they still haven't figured the source of). The holes they had to cut to drain the infections have started filling in now, so I am starting to see a light at the end of this tunnel.
