Well, TO, unless there's something Really Bad within "the workings" of EBIX that only a selected few know about, the only other possibility that seems to make sense is that there are those who have taken up heavy short positions and are trapped, and are doing whatever it takes to make the best of a Bad situation.

On the other hand, if another company wanted to buy out EBIX, primarily via a share swap, then it may be to the advantage of the buyer that EBIX's share price remains low.

If EBIX's future prospects are positive, as those Analysts believe, and if EBIX's fundamentals are as positive as we believe, then EBIX could be seen as a good buy. And the less one has to pay for a Good buy, the better.

I'm no great expert in these matters. What do you think of the possibility ?
