I, too, was surprised by the market reaction to ADVH news release regarding acquisition and current quarterly earnings announcement.

They did say the purchase would be beneficial to 1999 earnings but they would take a charge for the purchase this year. Maybe the market reacted to that statement.

I have seen other companies announce a purchase that wouldn't add to the bottom line until the following year and the stock gaps up sharply.

Still hanging on to my shares.
