in any event the idea of 'universal' health care for instance is simply another way of saying, 'fubar government monopoly.' in the u.s. for example, what we need is less government involvement in health care, not more.
there should be no licensing or other such tripe. health care would be readily available if it weren't for the ama and those damned phychiatrists...
dignity is something one cane create for oneself, no?
there are no guarantees in life. again that is my opinion.
as for the middle east; what can anyone say? nobody even knows what's really happening there.
after having read some o'rourke on the subject my best bet would be that heavy rains would bring peace to the region.
as it is, 'those people' are crazy because of the heat!
