Can someone explain, in plain English, what this analyst is concerned about??

NEW YORK -- Montgomery Securities Inc. analyst Matt Robison said he downgraded Qualcomm Inc. (QCOM) to hold from buy.

Robison said that despite Qualcomm's positive deployment news, he's worried about missionary pricing issues for handsets and infrastructure that could delay the benefits from manufacturing overhead absorption.

He maintained his earnings estimates of 13 cents a share for the fiscal first quarter of 1997, and $1.15 for fiscal 1997.

Qualcomm yesterday reported fiscal fourth-quarter net income of 11 cents a fully diluted share, compared with 17 cents a year ago. Fully diluted earnings for the fiscal year were 30 cents a share, compared with 52 cents the previous year.
