$18B in revenues in 2002 after $12B in revenues in 2001 would be a 50% increase in revenues. Current guidance for revenue growth is still 35%. EPS Growth may grow annually in the 40% to 60% range for the forseeable future since networked storage seriously expands the opportunity for EMC software in a SAN (storage area network) within a S.A.N. (system area network) paradigm that will dominate product development for the next 5 years. That is why they're spending 75% of their R&D budget on software.
