I make it a point to ask my stepdad every 4-5 months about the old HP Z420 workstation rebuild desktop he got in early spring 2017. Its specs might seem archaic now but he claims it is still working strong and not skipping a beat. To be fair he is not a power user compared to me but, he has a pro level flight simulator on it and modestly upgraded the monitors years ago, I upgraded his GPU, and most recently he added higher end flight sim gear. If any of those things hadn't worked, I'm sure I would've heard about it.

Was explaining to him whenever he's ready to upgrade to the next box it will literally knock his socks off compared to what he's used to! -g-
