Would you elaborate on your comment: "He still did not understand, that the bandits took their money off the table and then kept doubling it on every halving of the stock." I understand that with every halving of the stock price, the number of shares the floorless convertible debenture converts into doubles. You seem to say that this doubling of shares equates to a doubling in profit. If this is the case, it is not obvious to me that this is an inevitable outcome because the market price afforded the short seller declines as well.
