Thanks for your post. I think that MSFT is a dynamite compnay, but short term, it looks like it might have some difficulty. Who knows, however. If you take the contrarian position to anything I say you will do well in the market. I accumulated some cash in this last downturn and took some losses, so I am looking to reposition this cash. I am a bit skeptical about everything at the moment. I suppose my feeling about MSFT is that if the market were to turn south today it would not do particularly well. This is just short term however. It has not escaped me that it did very well relative to the semiconducters in this recent slide.

I think my preferences at this point is AMAT, when it turns around, as Sonny has it. Perhaps it will do that today. Its 50 day MA is 48.62 and its 190 MA (could get enough data for a 200 MA) is 35.53. I am not a TA person, but since it has gone through the 50 day MA it may still have 5 points downside to the 190 MA. It has already broken through the lower bollinger band, which I assume would indicate an oversold condition. So it is wait and see.
