I am always in need of a fast and better PC. I agree buying will slow but I still see an upgrade cycle every three to four years.

Lately the pace of innovation in PCs has slowed down somewhat, and with it the need for upgrades. It will soon pick up with at home video editing, gaming over the internet, voice recognition, faster and better search engines, more intelligent applications...
