The company's subsidiary, Medianet Solutions Inc., has secured a contract
with Hollywoodbroadcasting.com, Inc. to provide all related Internet
services for live streaming video broadcasts on the World Wide Web.
HBC intends to provide live, interactive daily programming to the Internet
from its studios in Hollywood, Calif. HBC intends to take advantage of the
Internet by producing and developing fully interactive original content
shows that are solely for the Internet, combining live interaction with the
on-line audience, the host, and information.
Medianet will provide a turnkey solution for the development of the site,
network setup, and technology to deliver live broadcasts on-line and
streaming video broadcasts.
The convergence of television and the Internet, with live, interactive
broadcasting over the Internet, represents the next phase in the continuing
development of the Internet. Medianet's new contract will put it at the
forefront of on-line interactive broadcasts and live streaming video on the
Web.
