IDCC, this may not be as far-fetched as you intended...my 13-year old daughter has been suffering from Alopecia Areata since she was four years old. It's a not-so-rare disease that causes your hair to fall out in spots. They start out as small spots and grow to the size of a quarter or half-dollar piece. If two spots form close together, the bald spot is quite noticeable.
There is no known cure for this disease. I've consulted several dermatologists and medical doctors and read a lot about this disease. The only treatment is applying a corticosteroid directly to the affected areas. My wife and I have been doing this twice a day for eight years. Even with this "treatment", it takes months for the hair to start growing back and, by then, several other spots have started to develop. It's a never-ending cycle and, needlesstosay, very frustrating to all of us, especially my daughter.
Well, after taking NukeJohn's suggestion and Googling, "Alopecia and Inflammation", I found that alopecia is an over reaction of the auto-immune system! DING! DING! DING!
This set off alarm bells in my head since I know that Anatabloc regulates the auto immune response. After more reading, I learned that Alopecia Areata (and it's other forms) is caused by the immune system attacking the hair follicle, which causes the hair to fall out.
So, I started my daughter on Anatabloc about a month ago...4 pills per day (she weighs about 90 lbs). And within two weeks, hair started growing in all but 1 of her bald spots! This was remarkable! As I mentioned earlier, it usually takes 2 to 3 months before any hair starts growing...meanwhile, the spots continue to grow and multiple.
Now, after a month, there are no new spots and almost all her spots are gone! There's still one stubborn spot where no hair is growing, but I'm confident this one will go away soon. BTW, we're still using the topical cream, but not as regular as before...maybe once every 3 days instead of twice a day.
Finally, to our further surprise, about three weeks after starting ABloc, I asked my daughter if she noticed any other affects of taking this pill...to my total surprise she said, "Yes, I'm happier". Wow! I did not tell her anything about Anatabloc other than it may help with her Alopecia. I asked her what she meant by "happier" and she just said, "I don't know, I just feel happier".
I'm telling you folks, this stuff is amazing and it's for real.
