reid, trading the rolls on the way down, as you say - i assume that means shorting...? i have no idea how to short. also haven't a clue about options. i just find stocks i generally want to own and then i trade them as well as hold them; in the end that was the only thing that saved my butt in the last bio-debacle. lots of longs find that somewhat despicable, but it sure does lower the cost basis as you move up. thanks, don
