Again, your context didn't make sense because you were responding to very specific points that I made about Latinos for Obama, and you attempted to counter those points by intimating an unfair advantage of the White majority, and you embellished that point by including Hispanics in the White majority, despite the fact my original post clearly differentiated the two. So, no, it is certainly not "splitting hairs".
