Very true. Americans have been brainwashed into submission to power. That is the end of the American way of life as we know it when people stop questioning the rich and powerful who rule us; then they can get away with 9/11 type actions.

I personally believe the oil was the primary motivation for the 9/11 conspiracy, others will differ on that assessment. But, to me oil as a motivation fits right into the very anti-free market way in which our government has gone to great lengths to use the military to protect the oil trade in recent decades. Oil is vital to the American economy and the elites who control our government are very tied into the oil trade. How convient that 9/11 gave them an excuse to invade the two most oil laden regions of the world and build permanant bases in those same regions. I wasn't born yesterday, I can put 2 + 2 together, a long standing policy of securing oil at any cost and 9/11 terror attacks lets them further that agenda = a conspiracy for big oil.

Rightwing radio goes on and on about the virtues of capitalism and free markets. But amazingly they fail to properly critique how the energy market has been totally bastardized by U.S. government intervention on behalf of the interests of big oil. The fact is alternative energy has been held back because it must compete against a government monopoly that uses the military and the full force of the U.S. government to support the oil trade and keep oil prices in check. If that isn't against the principals of a free market, I don't know what is?!? Seems like a perfect discussion topic for rightwing radio. Why is it that we have a Communist style energy policy that uses military occupation to favor oil over competitors?
