US Navy relieves commander who reported COVID-19 outbreak aboard aircraft carrier

Acting Secretary of the US Navy Thomas Modly confirmed Captain Brett Crozier was relieved of his command after raising concern about the outbreak of COVID-19 aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt, which is currently docked in Guam. In a letter leaked to The San Francisco Chronicle, the captain urged military officials to do more to address the health and safety of the crew.
