Woodward/Bernstein were on CNBC's Tim Russert show.
He suggested that Starr would give Clinton immunity in
exchange for him providing full testimony and Starr would
deliver impeachment report to Congress. In a nutshell,
Clinton would let the chips fall where they may in Congress.
Even if he remains, Clinton is mortally wounded. The next
investigation of campaign fundraising would focus on Gore
in addition to Clinton.
