Maurice and all,

I disagree with you on minute pricing. The important FIRST step is to get the phones into people's hands. (No phones no minutes, no G* revs); once people have these "free" phones they will pay the high per minute charges more readily than you think. I still feel that the key is to distribute the phones, get them out there, and then deal with the pricing issues. Okay, if the SP's find they're not selling enough minutes at X price per minute, then they will simply keep lowering the price until they sell. That simple. But to start too low, where does that leave them if the demand is greater than they anticipated? They then would be "forced" to raise prices, right? And that is not a smart business move. You want prices coming down.
Just my opinion, there is much flexibility in pricing, but don't price your product too low in the beginning. When you raise prices your customers think you're trying to gouge them.
