Justa, The CC left me with the impression that competitive pressures were very light. JEOL has one e-beam system installed. Toshiba had to apolgize about their e-beam system(first mask writer they have shipped in seven years) not meeting specs at a conference in Japan. They wondered aloud about whether Ultrabeam is still in this market. Hitachi does provide some competition in laser systems. They referred the questioner to US mask companies, when asked about how Leica is doing. From what I heard, they are firmly in the driver's seat. They just need some orders. Bob
