I respect his opinion on the matter. I also think that we had ample reason to topple the regime, and I do not think he disagrees on that. As for intelligence estimates, every NATO intelligence service thought Saddam had stockpiles, the only question was the level of threat. There are various speculations as to how we got here, that is, to the discrepancy, but there is no evidence of wholesale deception or incompetence to lay at the feet of Bush. Even the Clinton's have said that as far as they were told, the stockpiles were there........
