Mary, OT *** virus definition alerts You can configure Norton AV to alert you when your AV definitions are outdated. I think it simply goes by elapsed time since the last update - 2 weeks [?]. I update at least weekly by simply opening the program and clicking on "Live update" while online. In my opinion an outdated virus program is almost as bad as no virus program at all.
