When you factor in that IBM switched from SiLK to a modified Black Diamond for their low-k dielectric at 90nm, I think this is a certainty. And that raises some very interesting possibilities...

For one, AMD's 90nm process just might reach maturity faster than any other if they can leverage off of IBM's expertise. This might be the reason why 90nm hit those delays, AMD and IBM were in the process of aligning their processes last year. However, it does raise the question as to how much can be moved between a process at 300mm and one at 200mm, although I suppose IBM's equipment can handle 200mm wafers.
